Salvation

You and I must be born again.
"Except a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God." John 3:3

You and I are sinners.
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

Our penalty for sin is death.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 6:23

Our penalty for sin was paid by Jesus Christ.
"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

We must repent of sin, then confess and trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved...for whosoever shall call the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:9,13

We can be sure of salvation.
"Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God... These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life." I John 5:1,13

After we have God's salvation, we need to publicly confess by baptism.
"Then they that gladly received His Word were baptized..." Acts 2:41
